Food Accessibility Programs
SNAP
Lexington Farmers’ Market accepts SNAP/EBT cards. To use your EBT card at the market, visit the market info booth, where we will run your card and disperse market tokens that can be spent on SNAP-eligible items at all of our vendors’ booths.
Kentucky Double Dollars
Lexington Farmers’ Market participates in the Kentucky Double Dollars program, which allows us to match some purchases made using EBT, WIC Farmers’ Market vouchers, and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers to increase access to fresh produce for food-insecure populations in the Lexington area.
FreshRx For MOMs
FreshRx for MOMs is a grant-funded program that provides eligible mothers-to-be on Medicaid with weekly produce dollars to spend at the Lexington Farmers’ Market. Download the participant flyer HERE
Youth Programs
Lexington Farmers’ Market partners with FoodChain, the Fayette County Cooperative Extension Service, and the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department to bring the Power of Produce Club to children visiting the Saturday & Sunday markets in the summer.
